The End of Shift feature is specifically designed for the hospitality industry, allowing business owners to easily close and save their daily shifts.
Activate End Of Shift
Before using this feature in the Klearly app, it must first be activated via the Klearly dashboard. As an administrator, you can do this yourself under 'Sales Settings' in the dashboard. Check the instructions for this feature here.
Closing A Shift
- Open the Klearly menu in the app by tapping the three lines in the top-left corner, then select End of Shift.
- Enter the access code if one is set (this is determined by the owner/administrator).
- You’ll now see a shift overview.

Scroll down and tap Submit.
⚠️ Important: The shift will be saved to your history once you press Submit or when the cutt-off time is due.
- You will then receive confirmation that the end-of-shift report has been created.
- You can view this report under 'History', or send it immediately by email.
If you’re using a PAX A920 Pro terminal (with receipt printer), the end-of-shift report can also be printed directly
View Revenue And Tips Per Staff Member
Within the End of Shift function, an overview is shown based on assigned tags. When a tag is used to link a staff member to transactions, any tips received will be automatically allocated to that staff member.
This allows you to easily view both revenue and tips per individual.
If the owner prefers not to display tips on the End of Shift receipt, this can be turned off in the Klearly Dashboard by going to Sales Settings → End of Shift and disabling the tip display option.
