Below is an overview of the available sales settings in the Klearly app. These settings allow you to easily customize the checkout process to fit your way of working.
Receipt Settings
With this setting, you can customize the appearance and content of your (digital) receipts. You can add or remove your company logo, choose whether to display the company address, and add custom text that appears on every receipt.
Additionally, you can add a QR code by linking it to your URL, for example, your website or a review page.
Automatic Comma
This setting determines whether you need to manually enter a comma when inputting amounts via the calculator, or if it is added automatically. This makes entering prices easier.
Accept Cash Payments
This setting adds an extra screen during checkout, allowing you to pick between card or cash payment.
This setting is only visible to mobile users of the Klearly app.
Allow Discounts
With this setting, you can apply discounts to the total order amount. You can choose between a fixed amount or a percentage.
Discounts cannot be applied per product and are not available when the catalog feature is enabled.
Tip Settings
These settings let you decide whether the option to give a tip is visible during checkout and/or whether the given tips are included in the sales reports. You can let customers choose from three preset percentage options. Additionally, you can choose whether to show the corresponding amount for each percentage.
This feature is not available when the catalog feature is enabled.
Allow Skipping Tags
This setting is only available when the tagging feature is enabled and tags have been created. As an administrator, you can use it to determine whether tags must be used during checkout or not.
Set Day Cut-off Time
With this setting, you determine when your sales day starts and ends within a 24-hour cycle. This is especially useful for businesses that operate in the evening or at night, such as bars or restaurants.
By default, the cut-off time is set to 00:00 (midnight), meaning a new day starts at midnight. For example, if you set the cut-off time to 04:00, your sales day runs from 04:00 until 03:59:59 the next day. This can cause reports to differ from the calendar day, meaning the ‘today’ report depends on the set day cut-off time.
